Counselling

Living with HIV can mean there are a lot of physical, mental and emotional stresses on your body and mind. Clients facing these stressors can access counselling at ASAAP in group or individual sessions.

We run a support group  that meets once a month to provide group counselling and connect people who may be experiencing similar stressors. Family members and partners are sometimes welcome in the group to facilitate a community of care.

If you prefer individual counselling please call the PHA Support Coordinator to make an appointment or you are welcome to drop in. We advise that you call ahead of time to ensure the Coordinator is available.

If you prefer a session in a specific language please call us so we can make the appropriate arrangements.
